Small but Mighty
Mooseburger Clown Arts Camp (aka Moose Camp) is the premier place for clown training in the United States, and the longest continuously running camp dedicated to teaching every level and type of clowning.
We keep camp to 100 campers or fewer so every person gets real, personal attention in a fun, supportive, non-competitive environment.
At Moose Camp we teach by doing. You take classes, get cast and coached in routines, watch staff perform all week, and finish with the world’s largest annual clown show!

Personal Education Plan
A one on one, 30 minute call with founder Tricia Manuel before camp. You leave with a plan for your course and workshops.
Courses and Workshops
Mornings are a focused course with the same small group all week. Afternoons are hour long workshops you pick on the fly.
E-Workbook
Articles and worksheets collected over 25+ years of camp. Start learning before you arrive.
Prop Shop
Build a kazoo horn for the clown band, a prop for your gag, or a walk around prop to take home.
All Star Clown Show
Camp ends with a free public show starring YOU. Backdrops, props, costumes, and coaching provided.
Cabins in the Woods
Air conditioned, fully accessible cabins on one level. Watch for bald eagles soaring by!
2027 Special Guest Artist
Rob the Balloon Guy
Rob Balchunas mixes balloons, magic, and comedy in ways you have never seen. He twisted his first balloon dog at age four and has since entertained thousands around the world, earning Top Twister (2011) and Designer of the Year (2013).
In 2027 Rob leads the advanced morning course The Magic of Balloons, plus afternoon workshops on multi balloon sculptures, wearables, balloon games, and decor you can sell at events.
